Photographer's Note
Few decades ago people were more poor and used their objects until the end, the recycle of the products was a process as nature ever taught us. The arrogant modern society decided it would be chic and marvelous to use things and throw them away, the human confort and the money were more important than the nature and here we are.
This small freight of ruined metals is a hint humans are becoming more concerned about waste of natural resources. A real Christmas gift to our world and our future.
...........

Ola Jorge!
I've seen theis type of pickup being used as a motorized base for machine guns and other military gear - which might even support your view.
A Merry Christmas from rainy Rhineland to you and all of your family!

Hello Jorge,
A Christmas card of a different kind with an important message. We should take better care of our world before it gets totally worn out and useless. It's a good observation and I think you had to react very quickly to capture this.
Merry Christmas,
Gert

Hi Jorge,
You have capture well the movement of the truck. The point of view is showing the details of the scrap in the back of the truck. As you mentionned people used to keep there items until they broke. Today, the utility items are not made to last, the companies went people to spend mor money instead of having the itrems repaired. All the best for Christmas.

Hello Jorge,
I grew up in poverty, no electricity, no radio, no TV, no washing machine, a house ruined by WWII.
I never made a trip, always at home and working hard for not to have poverty as before.
I understand your attached note, but hopefully that poverty will never return.
Excellent brought, this image.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John

hello Jorge, There is an important message in your note and picture. Why do we want to have new things and throw away the old ones? But also the new ones that were not sold are thrown away. Imagine the tones of everything after the Christmas holidays. Nice composition. Best regards MAlgo

Hello Jorge,
Yes, I agree that use-and-throw-away mentality is bad for our resources but good for trinket manufacturers. Nice observation.

MT
