Vassouras is located in what later was appointed Para韇a Valley. This region became known as New Path and Proenca path as did the connection between Minas Gerais during the period of its Golden Cycle and the [[Port of Rio de Janeiro, serving for the marketing of this production for the Portuguese Empire. Due to this economic importance of connection, the Portuguese Crown issued a Royal Decree protecting this [7] area, in order to monitor and prevent the smuggling of gold and consequently leaving there is no settlement in place until the end of the eighteenth century and early nineteenth century.

Bonjour, Ricardo,
Tr鑣 belle mise en image. Tout est parfaitement organis� pour nous offrir une composition de qualit�. L'閐ifice religieux est tr鑣 bien plac� (point fort de la composition) et les jardins en avant-plan donnent un effet de perspective du meilleur effet.
Un grand coup de coeur pour cette composition.

Oi Ricardo,
A beautiful green park in front of the white double-turrets church, decorated beautifully by palm trees and well cared garden.
The inclussion of the small-kiosk cart and the seller added nice contrasting colors, without this i'd say just a wonderful, charming garden. So, it is a nicely added object to the scene.

What a beautiful square ! So large and green , with splendid alley of palm trees , and the tpical church in the Bg . The seller in th Fg adds a touch of life and vivid colors to the scene .
