Photographer's Note
Indigenous language of "big water", the Paraguaçu, approximately 600 km long, is the longest river in Bahia and genuinely responds by water from several municipalities. Popular for fishing, has a large variety of fish, especially the peacock, crumatá, betrayed, and piau pleco, and shellfish and crustaceans. Abundant clay on its banks, rises the beautiful craft of pottery. Populated by legends and myths, Paraguaçu inhabits the imaginary location. Among the most popular beliefs, that of "Mother of Waters", sort of fitted Iemanjá power of enchantment of the Sirens, the "Water Nigga" which, like Saci Perere, plays to scare everyone you see wandering banks of the river, and Sucuiuba feared anaconda snake, which by their large, turned into an almost mystical to the riverside population. The Paraguaçu River separates the historic towns of Cachoeira and Sao Felix, joined by an old iron bridge, dated 1859.

Hello Roberto,
I like this rather plain composition of a bridge across the river. The rough timber and the slightly rusty yellow railings make the bridge quite attractive to me, and there is a very good depth in the composition, leading my eyes straight towards the tropical scenery.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Roberto,
The long bridge creates a fine diagonal along the picture. It also provides some fine colours and interesting details on the building materials. A very beautiful landscape view here!
Kind regards
Gunnar
