Photographer's Note

Cauca Viejo was design inspired by the Antioquian colonization period. The town, on the banks of the Cauca River, in the southwest of Antioquia, is a portrait of that time: cobbled streets, main park, church, cural house, town hall, taverns and houses with white facades, colored skirting and wooden windows. A beautiful place to visit.

Hole Sergio,
A nicely painted alley in three colors, green, blue and off-white.
There is a beautiful returning pattern upon the facades.

Hello Sergio,
This little town seems to offer endless photo possibilities. Different designs and different combinations of colours seem to be found in every street. This view is greatly enhanced by the flowers, and the composition benefits from the diagonal angle of the street. I also like how you used the plants on the left side as a frame.

Hello Sergio,

This must be one of the most colourful towns in the whole of S. America! There seems to be an endless supply of brightly, tastefully coloured houses!
You have chosen a fine viewpoint, where the converging lines create an excellent, long perspective, with well included details of flowers and patterns, along the way.
The road ends at a strong vanishing point.

Sergio, este camino adoquinado tiene mucho encanto. Las ventanas de la casa de la derecha estan protegidas por rejas de hierro forjado. El balcon del primer piso es muy elegante. La pintura llama la atencion. Las flores de las buganvillas dan vivos colores a la escena. Una imagen nitida, buen encuadre, saludos cordiales.
