Maras salt plant, a photo from Cusco, South

Photographer's Note

Maras salt plant has been existing for centuries. Created by the incas, this ingenious factory is now composed of more than 4000 tanks in which the salt water source is distributed and dried thanks to the sun. 30 days after filling a tank, only the salt is left. It can be picked up and the tank filled again.
This salt plant is still used nowadays and provide salt to the villages of the sacred valley and Urubamba.

the landscape is impressive
very nice depth
I find it is slightly too dark especially the blue sky, otherwise nice picture

superbe photo de ces "marais" salant. Cette mosa飍ue de parcelles est magnifique et ressortent � merveille avec le rouge des montagnes et le bleu du ciel. F閘icitation et merci du partage.

Hello Guillaume! Great composition, when I saw this as a thumbnail I thought it was a glacier flowing down the canyon. The image was great depth. My only criticism would be of the lens flare in the sky but it is minor.

Endroit que j'ai visit� ce printemps et le point de vue choisi est un des meilleurs pour montrer la grandeur et la majest� de cet endroit.Le moment de la photo est bien choisi 間alement, car les deux paroies sont bien ensleill閑s.
Seul b閙ol concerne la couleur, je trouve que la saturation a 閠� trop pouss閑, autrement excellent
