Photographer's Note
This shot was taken in Meat cove which is located almost completely at the eastern tip of Nova Scotia. It is definitely worth a visit for all of you that simply do the Cabot Trail, the short detour will give your eyes and soul their money’s worth. I had the luxury of staying in a small rustic wooden cabin overlooking the ocean. I was not prepared for this and had to travel light so I had no covers, blankets and pillows and I am use to this and always improvise with all the clothes I am carrying and use them as blankets and pillows. The front little porch was overlooking the ocean, cliffs and beautiful mountains, I could not have asked for a better location.
Always good when you are in a new location to scout the area first and first and foremost ask the locals for area’s that they might have came across over the years which would be ideal for sunset or sunrise shooting. This time I asked the man responsible for the campground, He immediately pointed me to a place where he used to go and was ideally located to catch sunset. This was a place I do not think I would have found even if it was located near a place that is more obvious , the particular area he pointed me was perfect for me to go 3 hours before sunrise, be by myself with absolutely no one to bother me and take in all the beauty and energy this place had to offer. I might repeat myself but, everytime I am confronted with such grandiose beauty, I really feel a connection with the location and feel the energy this place has to offer, Almost like it is trying to tell me something about what went on in that same location year’s ago. This is probably all in my head but these moments are my own little divine interventions and helps me become one with nature and inspires me tremendously in my shooting.

All that equipment used to give that impressive result!
Beautiful landscape with fantastic brilliant colours clearly exposed!
The perspective worked perfectly thanks to the chosen PoV, since the arranged position for every element was ideal, in my opinion of course.
Compliments for this picture, Pat!

Hi Pat
I don't know why I haven't run across your images before now. This one is quite stunning. The light is well balanced thanks to your filters abd the long exposure has produced a smoothing of the water as well as motion in the FG grasses.
