Paul - the very photogenic subject makes for a nice focal point, but it's the wonderful light that really drew my attention here; great interplay of light and dark. The shadowed foreground really allows the dried grass to glow in a way, and the well lit BG adds wonderful depth to a very moody and impressive shot.

Hi Paul
This is a great mix of almost unearthly grasses and a spooky sky.The building itself is very interesting and would make a good cover for a Mystery book.The light falling on the distant hills has been well captured.

Beautiful photograph of Nature. The wavy grasslands with a mixture of dry & green vegetation; the low grey blue clouds against an azure sky - the whole perspective is of nature that is changing, evolving. Set it contrast to this is the old abandoned farmhouse - captures with sharpness and clarity. You have captured a very nice moment in nature and set it in contrast to human habitation. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Paul - Beautiful image. There is such movement created by the FG grasses and the sweep of the clouds which seem to follow the contours of the landscape moving in from the LHS. The wooden building appears to stand in a sea of calm, stoic and eternal. The warm illuminated hills on the horizon add excellent contrast to this super photograph. Lovely work. hi paul,
this is a cracking picture. the detail and sharpness are stunning. the textures in the foreground grasses are wonderful, as are the textures in the wooden house. a very evocative and atmospheric image. the cloud formations are superb and seem to mirror the contours in the land.
