Pr鑣 de la Basilique de Sainte-Anne d'Auray , ce Monument aux Morts , ou Memorial de la Grande Guerre , fut 閐ifi� entre 1927 et 1932 pour honorer les soldats bretons morts pour le France pendant la 1ere Guerre Mondiale . A l'閜oque , on 関oquait le chiffre de 240 000 morts , mais il se situerait plut魌 entre 110 et 130 000 . En tous cas , avec 22% , le nombre de tu閟 par rapport � celui des mobilis閟 d閜assent de 6% la moyenne nationale .

Une superbe lumi鑢e et personne autour du monument : il n'en faut pas plus pour r閡ssir une jolie photo (il faut quand m阭e aussi avoir le coup d'oeil, bien s鹯).
C'est tr鑣 r閡ssi.

Bonjour Denis,

You have written a very interesting note about this monument to the Fallen of Brittany in World War I. And given us a beautiful photograph of this fine structure to illustrate it.

The monument in itself is a fine one but it is the soft warm light, perhaps of early morning or evening, which makes it stand out so finely against a darker sky while your symmetrical composition, afforded by the lines of trees on either side and the roadway before it, draw the eye perfectly to it.

Glorious light and colours, perfect exposure and splendid details and sharpness.

Bonjour Denis,

Un cadrage classique mais des plus efficace.Bel effet entonnoir qui donne de la profondeur et beau ciel gris en arri鑢e plan qui fait ressortir les contrastes et les formes du monument.
