Photographer's Note

Meissen - a district town in the south-east of Germany, in the federal state of Saxony, in the administrative district of Dresden, the seat of the district Meissen. It lies by the Elbe river, approx. 26 km from Dresden.
Meissen is famous for the production of wine and Meissen porcelain.

Castle Hill:

Cathedral of St. John and Saint Donata from the 13th century
Albrechtsburg Castle from the 15th century - the first seat of the Royal Polish and Electro-Saxon Porcelain Manufactories
Bishop's Castle from 1476-1518 (rebuilt in 1912)

Another point of view on this beautiful cathedral. I like the framing and the contrast offered by the vernacular architecture on the left. Nicely illuminated with superb colour contrasts and excellent sharpness.

Hello Krzysztof,
A nice composition from a low angle where the overhanging branches are nicely used as an upper frame and to fill the empty sky. There is a lovely contrast between the grey Gothic cathedral and the bright white and red building. The light management and sharpness are perfect.

I like this!
You have cropped this to make the buildings fit together like a jigsaw!
They are neatly placed and very detailed.
The roofs make a strong, orange layer, with the spires ascending beyond them, showing up well against the uninterrupted, blue sky.
The branches are well included, like a canopy.

A great capture of these twin towers of the old church, whose details look really wonderful in this bright and clear sunlight. The warm colours of the architecture stand out well from the blue sky. The white building with the red rood in front gives a nice contrast.

J'aurais probablement fait la m阭e photo au m阭e endroit tellement nos styles se ressemblent. Le cadrage vertical ainsi que la contre plong閑 donnent une belle ampleur � l'ensemble.

You used the dark leaves very well in the composition and they add a nice natural frame around the towers of the church. The red roofs also add a good colour contrast with the very blue sky.

bardzo atrakcyjny reportaz z jak juz wspomnialem zupelnie mi nieznanego miasta. Okazuje sie ze jest tam tyle do pokazania! Pogoda jak najbardziej ci sprzyjala i sprawila ze kazdy zakatek skapany jest w promieniach slonca i pelen zywych kolorow.
Swietnie wypatrzona kompozycja!

I like this vertical POV and the contrast between the beautiful old church built in stone and the white building with the orange roof against the pure, blue sky, framed by the elegant leaves at the top : Although they were in the shade, the sun managed to catch a few and give them their real, green colour, making them look like pearls.Warm regards.
