It is impressive that we can see many castles built by Normans when they invaded the island in 1066. They usually are positioned in a top of an artificial hill and are square in terms of shapes.

Impressiona a quantidade de castelos erguidos pelos normandos quando invadiram a ilha em 1066. Essas fortalezas eram geralmente erguidas no topo de colinas artificiais e tinham um formato de cubo.

The architecture is typically Norman and you have captured it very well from this angle. The passer-by is well placed to give scale and context. Agreeable soft lights and colours and excellent sharpness.

Hello Jorge,
The square castle sits proudly on top of the hill. Its architecture is remarkable, but it looks like it wasn't an easy task for enemy armies to capture it during the Middle Ages. The calm mood in the street was well included in the foreground.

Bonjour Jorge,

Ce cube au sommet de sa colline est assez intrigant et la contre plong閑 lui donne une tr鑣 belle ampleur. Par contre il manque un petit peu de contraste � cause de ce ciel insignifiant.
