Photographer's Note

We are no more confined in our home, we can travel up to 100 km from it, so I took the opportunity of a bright sunshine to go to the sea shore. We can access to the beaches but sitting or lying on it is forbidden. But you can't stand up for a picnic, a bench, a small wall or camping chairs are welcome. Let's feast the end of confinement in front of a spendid landscape!

Hello Claude,
The half empty bottle of wine is the star of this photo. We only need the tightly cropped two persons to understand the pleasure of being allowed to be outside in the sunshine and fresh air after the long confinement. But if you are allowed to go to the beach, why is it forbidden to lie down in the sand, even with a safe distance to others? It doesn't sound very logical.

Bonjour Monsieur Claude,

Three delightful photographs capturing some escapes from confinement!

I think you main photograph has to be my favourite - the lack of any clutter in the distance (the distant view is limited to just the sea), the striped white/red dress and the lack of heads - all draw our focus and attention to that bottle of wine, wine glass and recently removed cork - all typifying relaxation and freedom!

Two fine workshop pictures too - you French people take your food very seriously - bringing folding tables and chairs, wine and food with you - we British are uncivilised and just grab a cheap sandwich from somewhere.

Covid-19 has our life completely chenged, I know not when this yet come bach if formerly!
No sit on a bench, but the ladies must a little bit take pause with a good glass of wine.
