Photographer's Note
This weather ravaged outcropping of yellow sandstone reminded me of the extra terrestial in the movie E.T. He seems to be looking to the sky from under his blanket.
This outcrop is located near the southern edge of the main portion of White Pocket in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. It's best to visit White Pocket on a weekday as it is a popular destination (albeit difficult to get to due to the deeps sand road) on weekends.
