Photographer's Note

Shot on a winter afternoon at the subway station Vijfsluizen in Schiedam. This station is part of the above ground stretch of the new Benelux subway line.The camera had been placed on a stainless steel part of the platform. Through the reflection there a tunnel-like effect arises - a tunnel above ground.

Not exactly centered, and maybe tilting just a bit... But the place is so nice ! the curves and reflections really appeal for a symetry. I try a WS.

i love that shot.. and to be very honest I do not care if it is not centered...it gives it a little something different. Why should all things in this world always be square and linear? Bravo!

Oh, good eye. Well seen. The effect is good. The foreground is blurry, more DOF would give sharpness to the whole shot. Clochette's workshop is good.

Interesting shot! Te reflection is great, well-captured. But I'd move a bit to the right the make it "Symmetry" Anyway, this is great shot.

Bert, this is a beautiful shot.
The steel frames makes an interesting pattern and the reflection on the floor is beautiful. I like it the way it is.

Ok maybe it should be centered, but the subject is really nice, it is so graphical, and the reflection on the platform is stunning. Good idea, and good positionning of the camera !

photo is not balances, it would be more beautiful if you had the photo croped since your photo you have taken is not in the middle. clear lines, and nice reflections, nice shot though.ALl the best!

A brilliant effect has been created using a simple technique. You were lucky that the area was deserted! The curved sides resemble whale bones.
