Hi Alex,

A striking photo with lots of colour. What a great way to enliven a bunch of boring garage gates. Good exposure and composition. If the photo was a bit bigger it would have more impact when we open it up in a new tab.

Bonjour Jean,

The converging lines give us a good sense of depth as we look along the sandbank running off to the horizon. Long shadows and good colours add to the effect.

Hi Jean,

A well chosen subject to zoom in on. Nice colours and beautiful shapes. The spiral ammonite on the right is not stained glass - it's a real ammonite fossil, filled with yellow-brown calcite crystals. It would be a valuable thing on its own.

A classic Andalusian scene with the huge church and the terracotta roofs of the town below, with a beautiful blue sky. This hill is a good point of view for the church and the surrounding landscape. The workshop photo is also very impressive.

An interesting view straight up to the blue sky from this circular building. Good colour and sharpness. I think the photo could be improved by having a wider field of view, but perhaps your camera doesn't have a wide angle lens.

An excellent view of the mosque interior, showing several domes and half-domes. The decoration is impressive - highly detailed but orderly, with subtle colours. The exposure is very good despite the difficult lighting with bright sunlight in the windows.

The Spitfire is not obvious at first, even though it is in the centre of the photo. It also looks a bit out of place among all the stuffed animals. You chose a good point of view to show this gallery - it gives a pleasing symmetry to the photo.

The sunlight was in a good position for this photo, showing up the details in the cliffs. It looks like there has been rain recently with all that greenery. The high point on the right is Rawnsley Bluff, if I'm not mistaken.

This is a classic Silverton photo - all dust, dogs and Mad Maxian cars. Good idea to include the wide dirt road in the foreground, as well as the dog, to give a sense that this is near the limits of civilization. The hotel seems to be in good shape. I haven't seen it for about 25 years.

This is a good view of this lovely baroque church. Good point of view and excellent sharpness. The shadows are a bit too dark, but that's difficult to control when there is also bright sunlight around.
