- I've taken photographs for 40 years, but since retirement in 2002 this has become my passion and my occupation. I strive for visual impact through simplicity. I look for places where light, colour and form combine to make a striking and satisfying composition. This is a personal and subjective judgement. In the past few years I've taken photographs around Ottawa and on my travels to Labrador, Mexico, South Africa, Finland, Estonia, Thailand, England and Hong Kong.
