Intro: I am an amateur astronomer, professional performer and musician, and traveller living in Perth, Western Australia. I regularly drive through Outback Australia to attend various shows and festivals and I always take my camera.

I started out with my dad's old Pentax SV 35mm doing my own developing and printing, upgraded to a K1000, and then bought my first digital camera, a Sony Mavica fd-73. These days I have an old Canon Ixus 300 which is very easy to carry and use.
