I started photography when I still was in High School. I used my father's old Yassica SLR. But I had to make a break in that hobby as I broke his camera in 2001 when my class had a fieldtrip to an Glacier in the Austrian Alps...So it took me four years to rediscover this beautiful hobby as I traveled with 2 of my friends through China. After that trip I got my first DSLR and ever since try to make good photos. I guess photography as an art is something you'll never stop studying. You will always proceed and develop while doing it. So that's quite a bit of myself. Have fun doing what you love to do, in this particular case: learning about our world through the eyes of a photographer!
