A re-visit to the holy city of Tzfat, while strolling arrived (again) to the Ashkenazi Ari Synagogue.
The synagogue was built in the mid-16th century in the Old City of Tzfat named after the ARI, founder of the Lurian Kabbalah.
In religious circles, the ARI is a well-known Hebrew acronym for Rabbi Yitzhak Lurie Ashkenazi.
Two cell-phone pictures of its interior, main picture shows the center stage, and the WS shows the Tora cabinet, a beautifully decorated by marble and wooden carvings.
Location in the old town is at 32.96966, 35.4917 on the map.
